Sheila Spangler specializes in business sales, business valuation, buyer searches, negotiation, deal structure, and financing. Prior to joining Murphy Business & Financial, she led her own business brokerage firm for several years. Additionally, she founded and launched the Zions Bank Business Resource Center, and the Women’s Business Center, two business-consulting organizations focused on growth and capital access. Additionally, she held the position of Vice President-Commercial Lender with several large banking institutions. During her 30-year career in finance as a business intermediary and commercial lender, Sheila originated and closed numerous SBA 7(a) and 504 loans, commercial real estate, and operating capital loans. She holds the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts and the Business Certified Appraiser (BCA) credential from the International Society of Business Appraisers. She also earned the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) credential from the Association for Finance Professionals. Additionally, she is an Idaho real estate broker. She has a master’s level degree from Pacific Coast Banking School, at the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boise State University.
